Supporting Our Families

Yeading Junior School, we recognise that every family may need support at different times. Through our Community House and dedicated Pastoral Team, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children, parents and carers feel listened to, valued and supported.

Working alongside a wide range of local organisations and multi-agency partners, our aim is to help families access the advice, guidance and practical support they need to overcome challenges, promote positive wellbeing and enable every child to flourish both in school and beyond. Our Community House is built on the belief that, by working together, we can strengthen families, build confidence and ensure every member of our school community has the opportunity to thrive.

One of the ways we do this is by signposting families to Hillingdon THRIVE - a trusted online directory bringing together a wide range of local services and organisations that provide free advice, guidance and specialist support.

Whether you are looking for information about mental health and emotional wellbeing, SEND, parenting support, family relationships, financial advice, bereavement services, domestic abuse support or local community groups, Hillingdon THRIVE can help you find the right support quickly and easily.

How We Can Help

If you are unsure where to begin, please remember that you are not alone.

Our Community House and Pastoral Team are here to listen, offer advice and help you access the most appropriate support for you and your family. If we cannot provide the support directly, we will work with you to connect you with trusted local services through Hillingdon THRIVE and our wider network of community partners.

Together, we are committed to helping every child and every family thrive.
