Rights Respecting Schools - World’s largest lesson
On September 25th 2015, 193 world leaders will commit to the Global Goals for Sustainable Development. 17 goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years. End extreme poverty. Fight inequality and injustice. Fix climate change.
Yeading Junior School has been taking part in the World's largest lesson to start teaching children about these goals.
Each class has been assigned a goal from Healthy Eating to more complex topics such as Innovation & Sustainability. Children will be learning in depth about each topic and creating displays in their classrooms.
A display with children's work across the year groups will be showcased in school.
