Be The Best You Can Be has been a key project for the school since the Autumn Term.

It has had a positive impact on our learning. The school was invited to take part in a special showcasing event at City Hall, London. Five children from Year 6 accompanied Mrs Whitfield and Mrs Jones to City Hall last week. The school put together an inspirational display of outstanding work with photographs and comments from various children. The children’s task at the event was to explain how they had engaged and benefitted from the project. The children took ‘dream folders’ from Year 3 and Year 6. They were a credit to the school and outlined the project beautifully as well as the children’s hopes for the future. They were knowledgeable, reflective, polite and so enthusiastic. They gained so much from the experience. Shefalee even competently took part in a question and answer session on stage.

Mrs Jones was sent an email from the CEO of the Mayor’s Fund for London stating that “the event would not have been such a success without the chance to see the inspirational work that everyone at your school has done as part of the Be the Best You Can Be programme”.
