Yeading Cluster Schools (YCS) is made up of ten schools based in Hayes who have formed a cohesive alliance to deliver projects across a number of subjects benefiting students, families and the community.

Designed to bring enhanced learning experiences to children across all Key Stages and abilities we are very proud of the achievements of the cluster that came together in 2006.  A key factor in our success has been the engagement with local partners including statutory and voluntary community groups which helps the member schools take part in exciting events.

Yeading Cluster Schools showcase at the Beck Theatre

On 20th June 2018, schools from the Yeading Cluster Schools came together and hosted a musical extravaganza called ‘Together We Can Make a Change’. The event was held at the Beck Theatre in Hayes. A total of 9 schools from across the Borough of Hillingdon joined.

The event created a platform for schools to celebrate the work carried out in schools to support local and global issues and in building community cohesion through music. Parents and people from the local community watched the children as they reflected the fundraising events they have been engaged in for local and global causes.

Yeading Junior School showcased all their work with WE Schools and performed a combination of drama, dance and singing. A representative from WE Schools also took to the stage and spoke about the work of WE Schools and of our engagement with them.
All the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of performing on stage in a theatre and we look forward to showcasing a similar event next year.

Together We Can Make A Change 2017

On Wednesday 14th June 2017 the Cluster came together and participated in a high quality event at the Beck Theatre entitled “Together We Can Make A Change” for the second year running.

This event brought eight schools together working in cohesion in the local community. The varied performances were fabulous and the event was a showcase of the difference each school had made locally and globally.

Yeading Junior performed two items that involved drama, dancing and singing. Our item linked directly to the Character Codes and their impact.

Governors, parents and friends enjoyed the evening together. The finale saw all eight schools singing in unity.
